Infuse moisture & flavor deep into your favorite poultry with the patented Turkey Cannon. Great for ensuring juicy, tender chicken & turkey every time. Enjoy the flavor of your favorite wine, beer or soda in the grill or kitchen oven. Roast a 12-lb turkey in less than 2 hours! <br /><br /> Thaw the turkey and untie the legs. Remove tail, neck, excess skin & fat. Clear out the inside cavity completely. Rinse off turkey & pat dry. Rub turkey with olive oil & your favorite rub &/or seasoning. <br /><img src="http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j26/gjmiklas/RVO%20Products/turkey%20cannon%20pics/turkeycannon-2.jpg" border="0" alt="Turkey Cannon Step 1"><br /><br /> Pour approx. 1 cup of your favorite liquid into roasting cylinder. Add herbs & spices for added flavor. Place chicken or turkey over cylinder with the breast meat up. If cooked in oven, place the cannon in a roasting pan to catch excess drippings. Add a few cups of water to the drip pan. Start oven at 425 degrees for the first 30 minutes & reduce to 350 degrees for the time remaining until the turkey reaches 170 degrees. In the grill, place the cannon on a flat pan to catch drippings & avoid flare ups. Cook at 350 degrees (usually med. to high heat, depending on grill).
