This rare Vanguard Zipper Hunting Knife is from the Custom Made Division of Buck Knives. Features, Gorgeous Cocobola Wood handles with Highly Polished Brass Guard and Butt, BG42 High Performance steel blade (BG42 is a High Performance bearing steel made by Latrobe Steel Co. in PA. it is used for Domestic, International and Military Aerospace applications. A special process combined with a specifiic alloy makes a clean steel with good resistance to wear and corrosion that holds one heck of an edge. 8 1/2 inches overall length, 4 1/8 inch full tang zipper blade.
