This is the most worthless piece of furniture I've seen. The item is so flimsy that it couldn't even support the weight of the cabinets on top without the legs falling apart and the cabinets falling over. The legs have to be put together with glue (that's so weak it doesn't actually bond to anything btw) -- as if this would hold anything! This thing would've toppled over onto my child even if it was secured to the wall because the bottom half would've come out from underneath the cabinets.
The screwlocks might as well have been made from tin foil because as soon as I attempted to turn them to lock in place, they snapped. This happened to two out of four of the screwlocks. The finish on the wood is cheap and included several cracks and chips. It's basically particleboard covered with paint. On top of that, some of the holes were misaligned.
I've put quite a few pieces of furniture together, and this one has got to be one of the most poorly designed I've ever seen. I ended up just returning it rather than having a safety hazard around my house. Look somewhere else if you actually want a spacesaver that will actually stand on its own.
