Designed for family camping, the Kelty Merced 4 provides 64 square feet of interior space for a group or family of up to four. Perfect for cost-conscious or novice campers, the Merced 4 eschews bells and whistles for solid construction at an economical price. Color-coded clip construction makes the Merced 4 easy to erect. Fiberglass poles provide adequate support and stability and make the Merced 4 more affordable than more expensive tents that are equipped with aluminum poles. A mesh ceiling and side wall vents provide ventilation. A partial rainfly provides limited protection against the elements and creates minimalist awnings over the door and side mesh windows. The 68D 190T polyester taffeta watertight tent walls and taped tent body and floor seams also help to protect the Merced 4 from rain and ground water. The Merced 4 also comes equipped with internal storage pockets and gear loft loops, providing organizational options for stowing gear and clothes.

I am very happy with this tent when it is warm outside. It held up great during a couple of severe thunderstorms and hard rain. Just DO NOT sleep in this tent when it is below 70 degrees (or whatever would be cold to you)outside. I have literally frozen in this tent. There is nothing to really close the vents at the top. Outside of that it is a great tent.
